How do I get technical assistance for my watch?

Do I need to register my watch?

You don't need to register your adidas Watches to validate a warranty, but hold on to your sales receipt; we may ask for original proof of purchase from an authorized retailer.

How do I get a new buckle, bracelet link or other small watch part?

We can send some small parts, depending on the watch model. Some watches will need to be sent in for repair. Please call us at (833) 339-0272 from 8:00am - 5:00pm PST, Monday to Friday, and we'll be happy to help.

How do I get a new band?

In general, we don't have bands available to sell. If you have a broken band or band part, we would like to review your watch, give it a battery change, and replace the band for you. If you would like to send in your watch for a band replacement, please call us at (833) 339-0272 from 8:00am - 5:00pm PST, Monday to Friday, and we'll be happy to help.

Why was my internet order cancelled?

We're sorry your order was cancelled. When this happens it's usually due to: out of stock item(s) or difficulty processing payment information. Your credit card won't be charged for cancelled items. How can I find out when a watch will be back in stock on the adidas Watches website?

How do I return an item purchased from the adidas Watches website?

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return product you bought on www.adidaswatches.com free of charge.* Returns must be unused, unworn, in original packaging, tags attached. Refunds are issued in the original form of payment.

Where can I find the included user manual and any extra links or components for my new watch?

You can find the user manual and extra links, if you have a bracelet style watch, under the molded paper tray that holds your watch. If you would like a new manual, it can be found here or call at (833) 339-0272 from 8:00am - 5:00pm PST, Monday to Thursday, 9:00am - 5:00pm PST Fridays.

How do I set the time/date on my analog watch?

  • To adjust the time on your adidas Watches, gently pull the crown out until it stops and rotate the dial hands to the current time of day, then push the crown all the way back in when finished.
  • To adjust the day/date (if applicable) on your adidas Watches, gently pull the crown out and set your watch to 6:00. Then lightly push the crown half way in and turn it towards you. As you do this, you'll see the date change in the date window. To adjust the day, turn the crown away from you. When you're done setting the day and date, gently pull the crown out and set the time. Push the crown all the way back when finished.

How does temperature impact my watch?

To reduce the risk of harming your adidas Watches, avoid exposure to extreme high or low temperatures or environmental conditions. Temperatures over 60°C (140°F) or less than 0°C (32°F) can impair or damage the function of your watch.

How do I adjust the metal strap/band slider on my watch?

In your adidas Watches packaging you will find a tool and instructions. To adjust the strap, unhook the clasp and lay the watch flat. Then lift the brace marked with an arrow, in the direction of the arrow. Slide the adjustment side towards the watch case to make the strap fit smaller or towards the end of the band to make it fit larger. Snap the brace back down when you're happy with the size.

How do I care for the finish on my adidas Watches?

Only soap and water should be used to clean your watch case. Never use household cleaning agents or chemicals, and always ensure the crown is fully seated (pushed in) before getting your watch wet. Do not push buttons on the watch when wet. Allow to air dry and buff gently with a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Hard scratches and abrasion will scratch the coating of your watch.

How do I care for my leather watchband?

Do not expose leather bands to water. Regularly cleaning your leather watchband with a damp cloth will prolong the luster and life of the strap. To keep the watchband in good condition, treat your band with a mild leather treatment. This will prevent drying and cracking. It's best to remove your watch while sleeping. Do not expose your leather band to water.

Is the coating on my watch covered under warranty?

The coating and finish on your watch is not covered under warranty. Our Service Center may be able to replace some coated parts. How long is my watch covered under the adidas Watches limited warranty?

adidas Watches by Nixon offers a limited warranty on defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years after original purchase from an authorized dealer. For specific details on what the warranty covers, please visit our Warranty page.

What does my limited warranty cover?

Normal wear and tear, loss or theft, and watch batteries, crystals, cases, straps and bracelets are not covered. Warranty is void if the caseback is opened, there is evidence of misuse, excessive wear or water damage. During the warranty period, if the watch movement, hands or dial prove to be defective, your watch will be repaired or replaced at no cost. In the case of a replacement, if your adidas model is unavailable, a watch of equal value and similar style may be offered. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

My watch is outside the warranty, can I still have it serviced?

I didn't register my watch, or I lost my proof of purchase, can I still have it serviced under the warranty?

In general, we require a proof of purchase from an authorized retailer for warranty consideration. We do offer service on all adidas Watches by Nixon manufactured watches, warranty and non-warranty. How do I get a new battery?

We offer a premium battery service that includes a battery replacement, a gasket check and lubrication, case back re-seal, and a pressure test to ensure water resistance of the watch seal, at a minimal charge. Please call us at (833) 339-0272 from 8:00am - 5:00pm PST, Monday to Thursday, 9:00am - 5:00pm PST, Fridays, and we'll provide you with a service authorization number.

Please note that while most adidas Watches can be taken to a certified jeweler for a battery replacement, watch repairs performed by a third party voids the warranty and does not guarantee water resistance.

Can a local jeweler service my watch or will it void my warranty?

Love your watch? Don’t let just anyone repair it. Watches are not covered under warranty if someone other than an authorized service partner opens the case back. Are bands covered under warranty?

Bands, straps and bracelets are not covered under warranty. If you would would like a watch band replacement, please call us at (833) 339-0272 from 8:00am - 5:00pm PST, Monday to Thursday, 9:00am - 5:00pm PST, Fridays, and we would be happy to provide you with a service authorization number to have a service technician assess your watch, replace the band, and include a complementary battery service.

How can I adjust my watch band without removing a link?

adidas Watches with a solid link metal bracelet generally require link removal for initial sizing and fitment. For small adjustments after sizing, use the micro adjustor feature on the clasp of the bracelet to adjust the size. Find the series of holes on the side of the clasp that represent the micro adjustor. Use a pin tool or paper clip to push in one side of the pin while sliding it forward or backward to the next hole. Do it one hole at a time, one side of the clasp at a time, until you reach your desired fit. Slide it carefully because the pin is spring loaded and may become lost if care is not taken. To remove or add a link to your band, you can take your watch to a local jeweler.
